Us Americans are so sensitive about the c-word. But hey, we don’t like hearing what we don’t like hearing! Get off our backs, Australia.
I’ll post more on this soon, of course. No video tonight. I’m tired!

Dreams are a mixed bag, aren’t they? I bought some underwear online yesterday, and I guess some of those images stuck with me. I found some that I liked, so maybe I did a good job?
I need coffee. I’ve been trying to go to bed earlier but every night there’s always something that comes up and delays me from getting the sleep I’m actively and consciously pursuing. Monday was a hike. Tuesday was the gym. Wednesday was a “serious relationship talk.” Thursday (today) is the gym again. And every night I’ve gotten just about 6 hours of sleep, maybe a lil’ less.
Tired!
I didn’t get a chance to make a video yesterday because I had things to deal with, so I’ll probably make a comic about that tonight. But this one was good to break the tension/repetition.
OK. Coffee, then work. Bye!
I drew this one with my 2 mm pencil. It’s
T H I C C (as you can see)—the lines are pretty dark. Not colored yet because I’m busy, OK??
Also, it’s kinda a part two to yesterday’s? Kinda? We went hiking and it was hot. Not to blame Bonnie for the weather, but she certainly didn’t help any making Lindsey do a bunch of chores before we could leave. And then asking about them and telling her she didn’t need to.
Fun stuff. Did you see today’s video?
More later, I’m sure. Hope you’re enjoying me vent about my stupid familial drama. BYE.
I’m at work, so I can’t color this strip right now! Too much to do, work, work, all that jazz.
I hope Lindsey can callous over her mom and grow beyond her, though I doubt that will happen without distance.
I had a good Labor Day weekend! Hiking on Monday was nice, albeit delayed (as you have read).
Check for more when you wanna — I’m gonna go get lunch.
me being right just means lindsey’s mom really does care that little about her daughter.
I’m tired. I made a video. this is a short comic but it’s better than no comic. here’s the video:
goodnight
I think the weirdest thing is that, to Lindsey, this is normal. So I have to point all this shit out to her and I feel like… am I trying to ruin her relationship with her parents?? I’m not, but they (her mom, specifically) do so much terrible shit to her (and transitively, me) that I’m always saying, “this isn’t normal. this isn’t what nice people who care about you would do.”
I hope she doesn’t resent me for it eventually. She’s never going to be able to change her parents, and if all I’m doing is complaining, what’s that doing to our relationship?
also HI it’s MONDAY NIGHT and I just watched BETTER CALL SAUL and I guess I gotta go do that now. brb.
ok I just got off the phone w/ saul and he was like “what’s up” and I was like “s’all good, man.”
wanna watch another sobriety video?
bye!
MAN. Another comic. I bet y’all are tired of me waxing and waning on updates.
“Do I read his comic, or do I wait a month and let the two updates pile up??” you’re thinking.
Well let me just tell you: if you are a dedicated reader I fully expect you reread every comic I’ve ever made every day. If you don’t do that, you’re not a true reader.
I mean… gatekeeping? What’s that?
The last panel is kinda a nod to this Achewood strip. Kinda.
Also, here’s a new video!
It was great, I swear, y’all. It was so good. Such a good joke. Too bad you weren’t there to be a part of it. MAN, that was funny. HOOO BOY. Laugh and a half with a staff of Zach Braffs.
Remember yesterday’s comic? And the video project I’m working on? Well now there’s a part TWO!
hi! I did something new yesterday and it’s kinda scary because I haven’t expressed myself like this before and I hope you enjoy the journey!–also–trying something new motivated me enough to make today’s comic, too!
here’s an embedded version if you don’t wanna click over:
Lindsey aged an entire year overnight and I ate a lot of garlic. Also, we got plenty of sun and drank a ton of water. I hadn’t been to a festival in a long time. It was nice being around that many people for a change, but I see that getting old quick. Still, it’s got its charms.
This comic was scanned as a rough pencil and then redrawn digitally on my Cintiq. That’s right, I own a Cintiq. And it’s a nice one, too. I rewarded myself for my suffering.
I might color this one later. But for tonight, it’s just the linework. We’ll see.
