Remember what I said about doing this whole line digitally?

Yeah I decided not to do that.

As you guys may know, I draw an Allan strip to convey an emotion. And the emotion for this line is not “perfect, smooth lines and computer tones.”

Anyway, I’m going to go back and redraw the last page at some point, but for now, enjoy this staunch visual shift!

In other news: SKYRIM IS FUN. It’s a lot of fun. I wish I had more time to play it, but luckily I’ve had enough time to make another episode of my “Let’s Roleplay” series! This time it’s with special guest star AMANDA!

So a friend of mine gave me a large Wacom Intuous 4 and I thought, “What better way to break it in than to force myself to use it mixed with pencil scans for the entire storyline!”

So I’m doing that.

And good news:

THE KICKSTARTER WAS FUNDED! Or, will be, right before Christmas. In the meantime, I’ll be posting updates to backers with special details about the book and preview images and stuff as it comes!

If you want a book, I would implore you to back the project—this way you’ll get a limited-edition, numbered and signed book with your name printed in the back of it. It’s a no-brainer ya doofus!

So today was my first day off in like 2 weeks so I decided to be productive and get some shit done.

You’ll probably see me try out a lot of new things in the future.

In other news, I’ve been hard at work (at school) writing programs and coming up with ideas and sculpting clay hearts. It’s a blast. I hope any of you guys out there struggling through your GEs make it through alright, because man, once you realize what you want to do, and you start doing it?—that’s when shit gets fun.

Do any of you guys know what Doodle is? Or is it called Scribble? There’s never really been a uniform name I’ve heard when playing with friends, but basically it’s where one person draws a scribble/doodle and then you try to draw something out of that doodle/scribble. I’m working on a little program like that myself! It’s very exciting, because it’s actually fun to do, and it really helps open your mind creatively. After just a few sketches I already start thinking about things in a new way.

So maybe I’ll have that finished up soon (the project’s due next week, so maybe sometime then?) and available for you guys to play with!
