So, it’s October. And it’s been October for a while, now! If I had my shit together, I’d probably be able to update CA while also working on JOAT and getting my insane workload taken care of at my tech job, but that’s just not the case this year, so updates are SPORADIC. I gotta pick my pleasure, and since JOAT is kind of a seasonal thing, it’s here.
But it’s almost done. And the whole chapter may not be done on the 31st, but if you support me on Patreon, you get to read the whole thing, regardless.

I’m trying to open up with the comic a little bit. This is sensitive stuff, I don’t like talking about it because it’s obviously caused a lot of problems in the past. And I don’t want to open up old wounds. These are wounds that never healed, I guess, and I don’t know what to do about them, so I try to figure things out. It’s been a tiring 7 years and it’d be nice to have some resolution. Maybe this is just me venting to no one, or someone specific, or the universe, I honestly don’t know. But it was on my mind and I need to create. There ya go.

I don’t know if it’s me or my audience or what, but whenever I travel to Madison, WI for work, my comedic stylings seem to hit or miss with a lot of the Madisonian crowd. Or maybe I’m missing their thing? Who knows.
So yeah, these two comics were all I had time for when I was in Madison, WI all last week. I actually drew them both on a plane! So that’s fun.
I’m having fun making these comics when I have time. I’m balancing a lot of work, so I haven’t had time to process how little art I’ve been making. So that’s fun.
I’ll probably update again, soon. So that’s fun!

I went and returned from Madison, again!
This is just part one of at LEAST two parts. I drew the other part on the way back. It’s late, maybe more tomorrow, yadda yadda.
Sometimes I doodle in my meetings to keep my anxious mind preoccupied. It helps me listen. Today, I was able to make a comic about a comment that came up.
I wouldn’t call it well-received.
