  So, you might be wondering, “What is this new project Allan is yackin’ on about??”
  
  Well, dear reader, let me tell you the tale of…
  
  The 600 — a massive undertaking that consumed the entire month of November in 2007. My good friend Ryan Wilson and I realized we could produce a ton of low-effort content and repeatedly return to the top of the “recently updated comic” list as a way to generate free publicity. It worked! We basically uploaded a comic every hour in November, and The 600 was a monumental success, staying at the top of the Popular Comics list during its run.
  
  Now, it’s been almost 12 years, and it still follows me as an unmatched feat of creativity and discipline. So, why not do it again?
  
  Enter The 602 (The Six-Hundred and Two). This time, it’s bigger, it’s badder, it’s April, and it’s never been a more impossible task. This time: we’ve got jobs.
  
  And speaking of “we,” this time I’ve got Dave helping me out. He’s funny, he’s smart, he can run with a bit at the drop of a hat, and he’s got a beard I totally didn’t include when I drew him. This is OK; I am often wrong.
  
  I’m looking forward to seeing how this whole process pans out. It’s gonna change. It’s gonna evolve. It’s gonna fucking suck and it’s gonna be wild – who knows what’s going to happen??
  
  Feel free to use this thread as a place to just chat about these strips. This thread ought to be a good place to centralize update news and stuff like that. Thanks for tuning in!

  There are far too many comics flying around and too many things for us to update daily for us to handle posting the strips here, so I say we don’t!
  
  And also, I ask, what are some things you’d like to see more of? Favorite bits or characters? Anything that stands out, we wanna hear about!

  Also, if anyone thinks I should maybe lay off Wolf Blitzer for a bit, let me know. I’m feeling a little guilty, I know he’s getting kind of old he seems like a genuinely nice dude (though not as smart as Andy Richter, if his Jeopardy performance is anything to judge intelligence by)
